I need a little help. I have worn out the search box and did not find anything. I have a Troy-Bilt, LTX-1842 Lawn Tractor that I purchased several years ago at our local Lowes. I have a couple different problems, but I think they are all connected.
(1) When I shift from neutral to Forward or Reverse it is very hard to shift. (2) When I push the brake pedal it will sometimes either not stop, or surge forward. (3) On level ground when I let off the drive pedal, it may or may not stop - usually slows down, but still crawls forward.
The Model # from under the seat is: 13AP609G063, and the SN: 1A213H20168
Thanks in advance for your help. My better half really wants this fixed, she ran over a perfectly good holly bush when it would not stop! :)
