That appears to be a nail-bar or pry-bar by some. Can you show good close top, side and front views? The view and size is restricting. loger

I'd say it's a variation of a slating tool, for slate roofs.

I'm sorry - I don't have the actual tool, just a photo! It is supposed to be an "agricultural tool".

The diamond area is used for pulling nails if you search nailbars related to crowbars. I will win the cake!! loger

Pulling or lifting nailed boards (to rem nails) if it's a nail bar. The hook is thicker looking than some today. The other end would have a "V" in it for lifting nails and pulling boards. loger

Wild guess, its a tool for removing horse shoe nails and generally cleaning up the hoof

It looks like a tool used in bee keeping. The sharp edges are for cleaning up the hive, and the hook end is for lifting the trays or whatever they are called. The hook is called the frame lifter. Search for bee keeping tools and you 'll find this still available.
