This is regarding a Generac 4000EXL portable generator.

I bought it used and the Voltage couldn't be adjusted down from 150V, so I replaced the regulator board and that fixed it. But the Voltage at the D.C. socket and the charging voltage for the battery is only around 9 V. I see a "charging diode" in the parts list. Could that be at fault, and where is it?
