2cycle engine Choke issue

I recently purchased a replacement blower. A BVM200LE Poulon Pro. I have been using this model for more than 7 years with no issue until now.

I can start the machine on full choke. Move to Half choke and it runs. However, when I take the choke off to get full power the engine powers down and will often quit.

I have emailed the company, but they do not respond. It is new out of the box, but 2 months old from purchase date. I could take it to a repair shop but don't want to spend $$ on a warranty fix (it would be nice it the company responded). I have many 2 cycle engines and have used them for 20+ years, but never ran inot htis particular issue.

In any case. Have others experienced this problem. Is this a quick fix or do I need to have this new machine serviced?

Doesn't this kind of stuff come with at least a 90 day store warrenty? Even if it was bought at Walmart or HD, you should be able to swap for a new one... Or have I been away from the States too long? Probably a simple adjustment, but you didn't pay good money to start adjusting from day 1. Is it possible that you are using last year's gas?

Try and get your money back and go buy a Echo Stihl or Husky from a dealer that will get it adjusted right. Thanks to the EPA even the name brands can come running to lean from the factory. Steve

its a carb adjustment issue. try backing out on the low speed needle valve on the carb. stamped with an L. small increments.
