We opened up the space under our stairs and are in the process of making it a small office. We have two storage areas, one under the left part of the stairs and one to the right and front of the computer/desk. The desk and bookshelf plans we have are pictured. The bookcase to the left of the desk will slide out on drawer pulls to allow access to the storage cove. I need help with colors, patterns, fabric (cover the right front storage area), etc. Our floors are dark wood and the plans are to make the desk and shelving white. Our living area furniture is brown with one blue wall, white cabinets and blue and green accents.
I like the idea of making it sort of artsy/funky.
