If you are absolutely sure you replaced the receiving sensor with a receiving sensor then you most likely have a bad board. Also that you followed the color codes on the wires. The receiving sensor is usually the first to go so it makes me uneasy to blame something else but you sure seem to have done your homework.

I too have a Craftsman garage door opener. Mine is approx. 10 years old but it was never out of the box. I am having a problem with the receiver sensor. I've checked all the wiring and all is good. I even checked for voltage at the end of the wire at the receiver and it is good.I've tried adjusting the aim of both sensors and nothing works. I also tried my TV remote control and that doesn't work. I finally concluded I should purchase a new set of sensors but after hearing the older sensors had a problem when the temperature drops, I heard that a newer model was available that corrected that problem. Can I use the newer model with my older unit? My opener model is #139.53627SRT 1/2 HP and the sensor part number is #41A4373. Please advise.
