My Troybuilt Horse Tiller has been leaking oil around the tiller shaft for a couple of years. My solution so far is to add oil everytime I want to use it.

I know that I can replace the seals but that looks like a royal pain.

So I was wondering if instead of oil I used grease or is this just a really bad idea. It certainly wouldn't be the first one I came up with thats for sure.
