d-i-e-a-p-h-r-a-m. Basiclly it has to pump fuel or suck fuel through the carb. when you pull the rope or the fuel will just lye there. probably a Zama carb. CUXXX or caXXX, if so get that number off the carb. and go to a parts shop and get a gasket kit. I would also look real close at the fuel lines and primer bulb for any dry rot or cracks. if it's cracked it will suck air and the fuel will just lye there. This includes the line going into the gas tank especially if you have ran any corn gas in it??? you can also goggle zama.com and there web site will give you detailed instructions on how to rebuild/reseal the carb. But make sure you observe how and where the parts you disassemble go by hand notes or pictures and observed how many turns the lo and hi jet screws are. tha way you can get it close to the orginal setting (unless you piddled with them) when assembling it.

I know it is easy to read more into something than is meant on the forums. I self-debated whether to add more explanations to soften my intent, but decided that simplet might be better. I hate the discussions about the decline of the American education system and how poorly the teachers and educators are doing their job. Most of the time I think it is the students and parents that are declining in their efforts to achieve education. The fifth deadly sin...sloth.

But, it don't change anything I understood when he was talking about evidently you understood what I was taking about. Spelling has nothing to do with higher education. has to do with memory, some people are good at it, just like others have limiting factors that prevent them from ever being good speller's. Acutally his spelling is closer to the sound anyway depending on how you say it IMO?!

Now if we "were" teaching grammer or english at any level I would consider it important to correct every mistake, cause after all that's what we are in the class for.

IMO most of us can't spell even one's with degrees can't spell, that's why there are so many spelling aids, then you add the different meaning to same word.

Some Teachers have always had a tuff job, it getting tuffer everday, some are just AH's, and some don't have a clue what their doing just in all walks of life the majority are doing a great job. IMO I also think the gen X factor plays the biggest roll!.

The smart teachers with good memory go higher so they don't have to be in the class rooms IMO. And because they have the higher education piece of paper they can boss and tell the ones that don't what's right or wrong. When they may have little experience in that area. Yes, degrees are good, usually commands more money, and something to be proud of, but that don't mean "there" "right" all the time or know what they are talking about. IMO we see good examples in Fed Government.

I only offered the correction because it was spelled incorrectly in two posts. With the second post attempting to give the corrected spelling. I am not good enough at grammar to offer corrections in that arena.

I only disagree with you about the spelling. It's a slippery slope to say spelling it how it sounds is okay. You end up with Ebonics or any other derivation that is really just an excuse not to learn proper English as taught in school. Or even something like "newspeak" from George Orwell's "1984". If the parents don't enforce, it's the rare kid that says they will learn it on their own.
