The saw will start and run, but very hot.

Carb is rebuilt, new fuel line/filter.

Checked for stuck rings (no).

Does not seem to pull well at low RPM's.

Help.

If it got good compression and the compression release is not leaking I would suspect carb. out of adjustment.

Try opening the high adjuster at least 1/4 turn, if it has limiter caps you might have to take them off to adjust. If opening the high adjuster doesn't help your carb is still clogged, they are hard to get clean once crudded up. Steve
