I recently purchased a new belt from Ebay that is 21/32" X 29". The belt came from Gates Corporation Denver, CO. 80202

The belt number is 6929 from this maker. It's green in color and looks to be made of kevlar. I will see if I can find the link to the vendor for you. It cost me 15.00 plus shipping though I bought other parts for my chipper from the guy at the time and he combined the shipping to save me some money.

He sells chipper blades, cutting flails, spacers and pins, and bearings too. I bought spares of everything because I love my chipper and want it to be around for a long time.

The 6929 belt is available from your local NAPA store or any other place that sells FHP belts. At NAPA it should be around $15 with no shipping. By the way, it's a 5L290W.

Thanks to both of you for the info. I actually got set of pins/spacers from the ebay seller I think you recommended previously captturbo. Forgot to think about the belt and a few hours of use after replacing the pins/spacers-rotating flails - the belt goes! If that Gates 6929 is available from NAPA, that's great, I'll stop by today.

The main thing is that we are not left out in the cold in keeping these fabulous machines running. I'm really glad that the parts we need are still available.
