After five years of very hard work (I live under many trees that must be picked up by 15 Nov to avoid them filling up our small lake), the Briggs & Straton 5hp on my DR Power Leaf Vac quit (rod and cam).. I am looking to replace it with the Predator 6.5hp. However, the shaft it too small in diameter. I am investigating using a shaft sleeve (keyed) to bring the shaft to the desired diameter. Has anyone ever done this and where is the best place to get the sleeve? Thanks Guys, and Semper Fi!
