Hi everyone, I have a troy-bilt 4-cycle powerhead with some of their trimmer plus "ez-link" attachments. I have been looking into eventually switching over to battery powered equipment for light duty tasks however, the cost of buying each individual tool is prohibitive. I recently stumbled upon the Ryobi 40v expand-it powerhead which at $160 would be affordable if it would accept my existing trimmer plus attachments. The ryobi powerhead takes ryobi "Expand-it" attachments, however, I have read a lot online about how many powerheads will take attachments from many different brands. I could not find any information on whether or not expand-it and ez-link were interchangeable though. Does anyone know if you can use the trimmer plus attachments on a ryobi powerhead? Thanks.
