I have owned a Flowtron for 15 plus years and it was sturdily built and a good workhorse. I decided to get one of the new ones on Amazon and from the photo it looked to be about as large as my old one. It is a disaster The hopper is much smaller than the photo indicates, the plastic is thin and definitely not sturdy. The upper unit and lower unit will not fit together properly. I called their customer service and not much help was available. They offered to send me a new upper unit as there have been problems with alignment (MADE IN CHINA) I don't want another Flowtron Is there another make out there (electric, simple hopper design) name and recommendations appreciated.
