Are you replacing the railing going around the porch itself or just the underneath lattice? If you just want to replace the lattice, I think it would look really great if you put horizontal white wooden panelling on top of the lattice, which would match that one white panel already in place, giving the house more of a modern, colorblocking effect. The nice garden area would stand out a lot more as well.

There's always the option of covering it with low hedges, too!

Is this your house? You could definitely go with a more modern railing and not have the curves on the arched thingees I can't think of the word for at the moment!
