Does anyone have any information on where I might find a snow blade for my troybilt horse model? Since Troybilt got bought out, they no longer make that blade. Appreciate any help you might offer. Thanks.
Michaelgw, I have one down here in Georgia, but have only used it for snow once since the late 70's. I use mine mostly as a "dozer" blade... pushing dirt around in a small fashion like a landscape machine. It's slower than a tractor but much faster than a shovel and wheelbarrow. At any rate, it would be very easy to have one of these blades fabricated by a local welder if you had some dimensions and photos. I'd be happy to oblige if you desire to go that route... assuming you can't find one any other way. Good Luck!
Here you go. It could use the wheel weights, if I can keep the blade below the grass it does a good job. I have to till it up first and then I can 'doz it up.
I plan to hook up a blade to my troy bilt horse. How does the engine guard bolt to the rototiller. It looks like it mounts on the two guide pins for raising and lowering the engine, but the pin on the left is solid. Any ideas how it mounts?
I was thinking at one time mind did not have holes may check bottom it maybe upside down. other mounting hole front of transmission at bottom usely pluged tight dirt and remains plastic plug. If have tap set this good place to use taps one on bottom transmission 1/2 ones in guild pin 3/8 all coarse threads.
