My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
I have an old 298. I just got it and it start but once it runing the r.p.m stays very high. I checked the link from the handle to the carburator and it's going all the way back and forward easily.
Yeah like Steve says normally sucking air or a Bad Diaphragm . Check the fuel lines 1st then check out the carb for stretched or sagging (wrinkled) diaphram . You may need a thorough cleaning or perhaps a rebuild kit on a older saw.
