It burned up and now races at idle. Sounds like a serious intake air leak. You should get it pressure tested before you toast it again. A good shop should be able to check it out.

I start 1-1/2 turn out on both and adust in. Pressure testing is a good idea or it could be a gunked up carb, either way don't use it untill it's runnung good. Steve
