We have moved to a home with a very large yard and will be redoing the whole irrigation system. We are planning a japanese garden style (modified for Eastern WA). I plan on having densely planted shrub beds and I'm wondering if a 1/4" drip system will provide enough water for large shrubs in our hot dry summers, or should I be looking for a larger hose size? Is there another irrigation method for non-lawn areas that I should consider?
