Craftsman keypad problem

Just replaced my GDO and cannot get existing keypad to work with it. The unit has a green learn button and the remote with the unit 139.53879 learned the codes just fine. When I try to program password on the keypad remote 139.53684 by pressing the green button and entering a four digit passwork nothing happens. Is the keypad compatible with the new GDO unit??

All new GDO's operate on the 315mhz (i think) band. It's likely your keypad is for the older frequency that is no longer used. The good news is that keypads are not very expensive.

We just bought a house in Manchester and the Keypad I don't how to reset it and I don't know if a battery is needed or not The Part # on the motor is 41A4315-7C. The motor appears to be faily new. I don't have the manual and I cannot find the model of it either.
Any Suggections.

hi. i have 2 garage openers one of them works but the other doesnt. i have changed the battery on it and it still does not work please help. 139.53879
