Does anyone know about setting up solar panels to power a multi station controller? I see solar panels along the highway that power lights, signs, controllers, etc.

I do a google search and come up with a confusing array of solar items mostly big units.

The panels I see along the highway are mounted on top of a post and look to be about 12"x 16". I have tried to get a name but the panels are mounted too high to locate a manufacture.

I would like to replace my battery operated controllers, which are remotely located around the ranch.

Orbit makes an expensive low ambient light controller, that are used on golf courses and large estates. I hope to install a unit that will power a controller and gate opener.

Many thanks for your help.
