Echo and high altitude

18 years ago

my father bought a couple chainsaws to clear his land at some high altitude about 10000 ft agl. They seem gutless up at that altitude and the only chainsaw guy in that town is a stihl specialists and he don't know squat about echoes. Does anyone know what he can do to get it to run good at that altitude. He has leaned it out and it still don't cut worth a darn. Thanks.
