Have an older Craftsman 2 stage snow thrower that started making a squealing noise when the auger is disengaged. found that it was the auger brake. want to replace it but having a difficult time removing the SPRING pin, not the shear pin, from the auger brake. it slides through the brake and also through the auger bar holding the brake. tried tapping it out but not budging at all. sprayed some PB Blaster in there but didn't help. anyone have any experience with this?
