I bought my house 2 years ago and it was built in 2004. The irrigation system was already installed so I'm not sure if it was by a professional, but it looks as though it were. When I moved in I noticed one zone wasn't working, but I'm just getting around to fixing it. However, I can't find the problem...
1)I tested the voltage at the controller and the valve and its 24.
2) I switched the wiring for the zone that isn't working with one that is. The zone that was functioning still functions and the zone that wasn't functioning still doesn't work.
3) I've replaced the entire valve. Still not functioning. I hear a buzzing when the controller is turned on but no click.
4) Tried #2 again. Same results as #2.
5) The zone does function when I use the bleed valve, but stops working when I tighten the valve back up.
