I have been thinking about buying one of the cheap mist systems with no pump to water an area around a small pond i just put in, it should be perfect for the ferns & hosta etc. I was going to hook it up to an extra 1" valve that was put in to water this area but has not yet been set up - I have a system with 1" pvc mains to 1" polly that runs right to the area I am thinking about. It would have its own zone and and the main it is tied right into the 1.25" copper main for the house so i have good pressure/flow. I was hoping it would also create a fog effect around the pond that I could light at night if i wanted but I do not know if this is possible without a boster pump.

anyone ever use a cheap arizona mist type system (they go for about $9 on ebay) that can clue me in on how this would work? or where I could get mister nozzles - maybe with a finer mist/fog effect?

thanks fot looking anf tia for any help ideas
