Cannot help you on a photo but, from what I've read on the forum JD blowers were made by Ariens. I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong but, might be an avenue to try ..

After a certain date they were. Older ones were supposedly pure Deere.

john are u anywhere near newton. i bought a john deere snowblower fix it cd.
I could make u a copy. it has a slew of models on it.

Sometimes u have to fudge the #s to get to the model.

If memory serves, the impeller pulley was flat on one side and had a projection with setscrew on the other. I believe that the setscrew went on the impeller side of the shaft, facing away from the engine.

I'm away from my 1968 JD blower right now, but when I return after Christmas I can snap a picture.

Thanks, that's the way mine came. The problem is that the pulley about 3/4" too far to the rear to line up with the idler or crankshaft pulley, and no way to move it forward. I was wondering if it was reversed on some models.
