My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Hunter indeed makes many very good controllers including the ICC but I could only suggest taking a look at Rainbird's ESP series ( If you have not already ) I think Rainbird scores a bit higher in terms of it's user interface ... easier and faster to work with ... just my opinion since you asked ...
my only problem there was price.... via my distributor, the hunter with 8 zones was $155, the comparable rainbird was $600+ I liked the fact that with the hunter I can run two manual pumps programable by station and still use a deep well. Also being able to buy 8station upgrade kits is more appealing as I don't need to get a 48 station controller to run 12 zones (never know where growth will take you).
the rainbird 'raster' (spellin?) test cycle was somewhat appealing, nice to know where an error is occuring. I might use a hunter icc on my next job and see how I like it.
ohh well, I have till april to debate it with myself :-)
