Where to Start?

20 years ago

Hello all,

I have an 1850's brownstone townhouse in NYC which is in complete renovation. I thought that this would be the time to pay attention to the back garden since I will be completely excavating it. At this time, it would be great to put in an automated irrigation system.

The back yard is small, only 20' x 30 ' and is southern facing.

I am completely new to this. Where do I begin?
