Hey Everyone! Need some assistance here. This is my first year growing Verbena. A friend surprised me with two beautiful pots which I planted in the yard. One is red and in the front yard in my island. The soil there is fresh and lose. My husband cut a trench for drainage on the edge of our property and put the soil in my island. It was all very lose and had been tilled. It is red and is absolutley beautiful and full of blooms. I have pine straw for mulch. The other is purple and I planted it in the area next to our deck. The soil is a more compact and has ground mulch from the local nursery. It is not doing nearly as well and as of today has no blooms. I dead head both. Any info on what I can do to help the purple would be much appreciated. Thanks!
