What is curb between gravel and grass is made of, as well as walls for plant bed?

      Both the border edge of the gravel and the planter box walls are made of plate steel.

      What was the thickness of the plate? Im currently in a quest for a clean bordering solution. I was thinking that steel would leave rusty spots on a gravel after some time.

      How was the edge of the planter box painted? Was it some kind of high tempertature polymer coating?

      I don't recall but it was a paint for metal and was painted at the site. The planter was 3/8" (I believe ) and the border was 1/4". Thanks!

      Converted to metric scale this would roughly be: planter 9 mm and border 8 mm. Imperical scale seems so complicated to my mind - 3/8" and 1/4" look very different to my eye, but trun out to be quite close ))

      We make an edging specifically for this type of application. It is L-shaped to integrate with the stone, and rigid for perfectly pin-straight lines. Comes in natural aluminum color or black. Check www.permaloc.com/products/permastrip.html.
