A tiny bit off topic

Got the following in an e mail. Read until the end, I'm sure there are several on this board that this may apply to...

HER DIARY

Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late, but he made no comment on it.

Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk. He agreed, but he didn't say much. I asked him what was wrong. He said, 'Nothing.' I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset. He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it.

On the way home, I told him that I loved him. He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can't explain his behavior. I don't know why he didn't say, 'I love you, too.' When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent.

Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed. To my surprise, he responded to my caress, and we made love. But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep - I cried. I don't know what to do.

I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.

HIS DIARY

My John Deere Lawn Tractor wouldn't start today, but at least I got laid.

A classic example of the difference between men and women.
They're so complicated and we're so simple.

Oh thats easy ...

If you want your man back...
Just pretend to care about the JD - and help him get it fixed ASAP.

I suppose that would bubble-gum and duct-tape the relationship back together.

at least for a while...

Well my heart goes out for ya on the tractor issue - what exactly is the issue with the machine ?

How insensitive! A man's tractor is down and all she can think about is sex?... a one track mind for sure. Dump her and find a woman with a bigger tractor.

Dear Abby,

I need your advice. I've been wondering if my wife has been seeing someone else. She always takes off for 'weekend shopping trips with her friends', and she has 'late night office meeting with her co workers'. Women aren't the only ones sensitive about these things -- a man can also tell when something isn't right.

I had to find out for myself, so I came home early one day and parked up the street so I could sneak home and catch her going out with someone. I hid behind my John Deere Lawn Tractor so I could see who pulled up into the driveway.

And that's when I saw it. My Deere has an oil leak on the right side valve cover. So do you think I can just snug down the bolts some, or do I need to replace that gasket?
