We have recently moved into a 4 year old house that needs some work on the yard. In the front, like much of eastern Carolina, there is a slope that consist of Clay and quartz. I am thinking about putting top soil on the slope and then planting.
Per the original literature the LT-155 automatic drive could be used with the following attachments
2-cubic-foot tractor trunk w/15-gallon sprayer option
6-, 15-, and 25-gallon Sprayers
40- and 48-inch Thatcherators
80-pound Pull-Type Spin Spreader
40-inch Aerator Spreader
40-inch Spiker Aerator
40-inch Plug Aerator
36-inch Lawn Roller
I have a 4X6 about 5 feet long that I would like to use as a drag to level the top soil. I would like to use the JD LT-155 to pull it. As a drag I don't see it putting any more of a load on the transmission and motor than some of those attachments.
Am I missing something that will be detrimental?
