Ok, so I'm going to give winter sowing a shot this year because I am DYING to do some kind of gardening activity to keep me sane thru this long, long winter.

But I have a question. We're getting ALOT of snow in these parts (as most of you in the Eastern Mass area already know). When I put my containers outside, do I need to protect them in any way? I mean....they could be covered in a foot of snow in no time. Do I want to keep the snow OFF of them? Or does it not matter?
