My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.
Only thing is, I wintersowed some of my blue clematis seeds one year, but what came up turned out to be what look like Sweet Autumn Clematis. Maybe it crossed with a neighbor's plant or something, or maybe there is a wild form that they can revert to? The plants bloom very well though.
Large flowering hybrid clems should ws well but be aware it could take more than a year to germinate and even then germination might be hypogeal- roots will germinate first and it might take another season to grow leaf. I have grown numerous small flowered species and herbaceous forms of clems with good success. Alpina, macropetala do well with WS and a lot of fun as no two plants will be alike and you will get all kinds of different shapes and colors.
