I sowed Confederate Rose last year. It's very slow to germinate and grow. I successfully sowed them in March.

And November. About 3' tall was the final verdict for the year. I took cuttings that have rooted and are in the basement under lights.

Don't sow them too early. They will rot. My first batch went out in Jan and did not survive the cold.

Ut oh....I sowed several jugs of these. Wonder if it would help if I put the jugs in the unheated GH. I will sow the others a little later in the season, thanks for the info token.
