I Finally Got Started

Well I really got myself going today and sowed 16 different containers. I had previously sowed only two things in the Fall that need an extra long time. They are the two in the milk jugs:

9-24-07 American Cranberry Viburnum

11-16-07 Aristacholia serpentaria host for pipevine swallowtail

The rest are the following:

1-1-08

Chelone Mixed

Chelone Mixed

Silene Regia

Sylphium trifoliatum

Giant Pink coneflower

Dianthus telstar purple picotee

Salvia Hormium Marble Arch Rose

Salvia Hormium Blue Monday

Maltese Cross

Rudbeckia Irish Eyes

Agastache rupestris

Salvia Azurea

Mystery shrubs  Rose of Sharon?

Asclepias curravasica

Creeping milk Vine

Helenium Red and Gold Hybrids

Some are for myself and some are for my Garden club's Butterfly/Hummingbird Garden. I still have oodles more to do which should keep me busy all winter! Tomorrow when I go back to school I am going to help the 5th graders with their winter sowing for the first time. I am so looking forward to it. I am a school nurse so I hope the rest of the school can maintain their health for about 45 minutes while I work with the 5th Grade!!! We are going to grow plants for our courtyard!
