Do you think I should paint my house this color? To give it more the feel of what you've created?

I think painting brick is a great way to freshen up the look of a house. I would not recommend you paint the entire house before testing out the colors, at least a 4x4 area on a few spots on the house. Colors can look very different depending on the lighting and exposure.

I absolutely love your designs and style. I am searching and searching for the perfect color to paint the brick of our 1926 colonial home. I need a brick color and trim. I keep going back and forth on whether to go with the ballet white for the brick or do a darker color for the brick and the lighter color for the trim. Can you please give your advice? I basically need 3 colors and I wanted a creamy white, beige and a darker color for some additional trim. Thank you so much for your help!!

I really recommend you engage a local design professional to help with your color choices. Colors can vary greatly depending on your house's exposure and surroundings, and a few hundred dollar consultation will ensure that your few thousand dollar investment is worth your while. I am afraid I might do more harm than good recommending colors without seeing the house in person...

Make sure you do a few test spots (about 48"x48") on different sides of the house before you make your choice, it will help you see the colors much better than any paint chip will ever do! Also, make sure that your contractor uses the actual brand specified. Many times contractors will substitute brands for one reason or another, but off brand blends never match the true blends, no matter what the contractor or sales rep tells you!

Thank you so much for your quick response! I am going to have more questions because I have not seen any work like this where I live. I also love the woodwork on the picture you have of the unfinished basement turned wine cellar. How do you do that to the wood? Is it just a washed oak? I have several furniture pieces that have that same style but want to have frend doors put into our living room with that look. I'm hoping a designer here will know what to do? Thanks again!!

That wood is white oak with a lime wash. If you do an Internet search for "San Marco USA" you will find some great products for this type of look. Feel free to write any time!
