Dave - if you post something that really doesn't need a reply - your other - "encourage the newbies" post is like this - it will hang in front of the rest of other messages forever.
I am suggesting that after some time - you can retire it with your own second post. Then it will go down the history lane...

yup, i thot of that, too but hadn't had time to send this down the line. I did delete the original message. For some reason GW does not give the originator of a post the power to delete ( if there are no follow ups), you just amend the message ....
