cherry pie?

I usually am on the Antique Forum, since most of my roses are winter hardy gallicas, albas, rugosa hybrids etc.

But I have been given a Cherry Pie rose - according to helpmefind, that is hardy in 6b or warmer. I am in southern NH, 5. I can give it a sheltered spot, but will I need to winter protect?
