The deck in the rear exterior picture has been removed and we want to replace with a concrete patio with a wood (epay) accent border around the edge of the concrete. Similar to a patio design we saw on HOUZZ. Just looking for the right color concrete. Thanks so much for your help!

With your house colour I think natural colour of concrete would compliment your house.

I'm not a fan of natural concrete color, though I agree it would go with the gray of your home. We used a concrete dye called "sandstone" that has a nice, subtle just slightly brown-gray tone to it, and we edged it with salvaged brick. I can't quite tell from your pictures, however, if this kind of color would be effective.

I agree, not a big fan of the natural color of concrete. The exterior of our home is more in the olive green, beige, and dark brown family, not so much grey. Thanks for the info! Sandstone sounds nice.

What I like about it is that the color looks natural and subtle. We are big gardeners, and the sandstone blends in better with the landscape than the natural gray of concrete. I remember being very frustrated that the people who were going to pour the concrete only had the tiniest samples of the colors--like 1" squares on a board--that were virtually useless. So we really felt like we were flying blind in choosing. We held it up to the old brick on our house to try to match a tone already there, and we just lucked out that it worked.

Well after reading all this, I think you should remain neutral but more on the beige side or if you dare, dark brown ! By the way, your house looks amazing !

Your home is fun/great lines and the sandstone idea is on point!
