When your leaves arive, let's hope they're all in fine condition. If rot appears on part of a leaf, cut it away and then plant it.

When leaves are limp, you can just put them completely in a bowl of warm water. Put the name tag near and let it stay up to two days until the leaf is more rigid.

Often growers make a new cut on a leaf so the "juices" coming out will maybe help make roots. I have put leaves down that have lain aside for a day or so and have had babies from them. So there's no rule for this.

i was told to make an angle cut on the leaf and set aside for about 30 minutes so the cut will dry. This is suppose to help keep them from rotting. I've never done this and had no problem before. I used the 1/2 soda bottle before and it works great but the more leaves you get the more space they take up
