In my area, I wait till late winter/early spring. These then will flower the following year. I don't know about where you live whether it is ok to plant now.

If you can get some started now, maybe you will get some blooms next year. I would try a few.

I have no luck with them self seeding, so I start them all in flats and thin and transplant to six packs and grow them on to a nice size before planting out in the ground. I had Apricot Beauty bloom this year so I deliberately dropped some seeds around to see if I get anything next spring. To be on the safe side, I also saved seeds. I have this year's started seedlings of the purple one already growing the in beds.
