I couldn't download the site you gave for some reason, I may have a restriction on my pc I am using from work. Anyway, to save some cost I would go with a "basic" black plastic framed tank with a fitted canopy. 3 options off the top of my head would be 1)Faux finish from a craft store or Home Depot. "Rustoleum" makes spray paints that are metalic finished. I have used the hammered nickel finish and it resembles the brushed stainless look. Cant tell the lamp fixture I used it on is actually cheap tin.2) See if you can get a stainless steel "look" contact paper. 3) A material with a stainless steel look to it that you can use to "veneer" to the canopy and tank.Just use a strong wter resistant contact cement like what is used for Formica counter top laminates. Most canopies cover the top part of the tanks frame. You can match the stand and canopy with the same paint or material. If I come up with any other ideas I'll post again.
