No, just doing well to get anything sowed at all. Coincidentally, I started some inside, two little pots. A big pot would have been better. Seeds a little old, not the greatest germination.

Supposed to be curly but doesn't look curly to me. It's under my lights but will probably set it outside and/or grow it in the kitchen window. I'm not used to having fresh herbs and use dried parsley a lot, no flavor, just adds flecks to add a little color, use it always when I bake fish, came up with my own super easy method for that.

Now when I make tabouli, I need a lot of it, probably more than I'll get from these. But I wanted to see if they would sprout and can always plant more, wish I had room for a dedicated herb garden close to the door. Always wishin' for something.

What do you use yours for?

I hate parsley, but every year I grow a container for my mom and she absolutely loves it. She only uses it fresh, just snips some off when need be.

Neat.

Maybe I'll sow some today too. I'll make it a birthday tradition. I was just gonna have some pineapple rum (it's ok, it's my b-day) while I cleaned and marked my newer container's, but I could fill some with parsley seeds also.

Happy Birthday, Melissa!

I don't have a specific sowing day for anything, maybe the same week though. The 2nd week of March, I WS all of my tomatoes, and indoor sow all of my peppers.

There are a lot of folks that sow peas on St. Patrick's Day each year I've heard.

Happy Birthday Melissa! Pineapple rum sounds delicious! I hope you have a great birthday on Parsley Day! lol

Peas on St. Patty's day? Hmmm....I just bought a pack and was wondering when I should sow those. Now I know!

I am off to plant my parsley and lettuce

Happy Birthday Melissa,

Today is my daughter's 25th birthday and I will tell her she was born on "Parsley Day" also. Have a great day and enjoy a pineapple rum for me.
