Most come from the tropics (South India, Thailand, Indonesia, tropical China, tropical Australia, etc), although some are from slightly cooler ares......your temps would not be a problem at all....they would love it. Your humidity may not be as high, but do a bit of searching for this info from places like San Diego, CA (lower temps, but low humidity as well) where they grow wonderfully and I think you will find that you will have incredible success, but perhaps others from a hotter region can chime in. You might also consider the Dracontium which are the Central and South American equivalent, although harder to find for sale by a mile :o) Dan

They should grow very well for you in Mexico . I have had several species planted out in beds in full sun and am amazed at how well most are doing . A.paeoniifolius have had multiple stems for several months and must have very large tubers by now . They were only 1" when planted but some have 3 stems at least 1.5" diameter and 3-4 feet high . A konjac took a very long time to sprout , but is loking ok now , hope the few inches of water it is sitting in now drains away fast .

Thank you both aroideana and bluebonsai. Was a LITTLE confused about this genus but have it clearer. Perhaps give A. titanum a try, although will be my first amorphophallus ever, wish me luck!.
