it should be OK. Only one way to find out and I recommed you put it in a pot with well draing soil, put the pot in front of a window or other warm place and see if it sprouts.

If it is not mushy or soft, it is ok. If it is soft in places, you can cut them out before they rot the rest of the blub. Then you can wait to plant it until you want to. Check the bulb for mushy spots a couple of times until you plant it because once the mushy overtakes a lot of the bulb, it is most likely too late.
