A few photos....

Its getting harder and harder to wait to take everything out of the greenhouse! I am itching to start my new plantscaping projects in there now that I am clearing out some of the plants I decided to get rid of (if anyone wants heliconia rhizomes, I have plenty to trade of several different types). I took these photos of my Lasia spinosa in bloom today...its so hard to get a decent photo of this very strange inflo! Also a new anthurium hybrid I scored at Home Depot...they had a nice selection of "Dutch" anthuriums and this was one...its called Tivoli and has this watermelon green and rose stripe thing going on on the bracht

I see Dewey Fisk has Lasia spinosa for ONLY 85 bucks. Guess I'll have to wait awhile. Oh well--hardly the only thing I'd love to have!

greenelbows, I sell some every year on eBay. I never ask more than $9.99 and have never received more than about $20. I send really nice sized divisions too, not skimpy whimpys.
I am also extremely open to TRADING if you have something you can bear to part with that I want.

Oh, Bihai, you give me hope! That is so nice! Y'know, I get a bit of a swelled head around here 'cause a lot of people seem to think I have a lot of special plants (well, actually, I do kinda, but not too much so far this year!) but then I get on here and feel intimidated. And you help! Don't think I have much you don't have already, unless you're interested in begonias or gesneriads or general not so run of the mill 'tender' plants for the yard. My things look pretty awful right now--we didn't have much winter, and then everything started growing, and then we had winter. Poor babies! I always feel a little silly fussin' about 'hard' winter here--last place we lived was northern Nebraska. But it's hard on tropicals.

Its just as hard here and we had the same thing, no real winter, everything still going green and strong then BAM one 2 night event of mid 20's that set everything back. Its all started regrowing now and hopefully no more freezes!
