Hi Rick, My understanding is exactly opposite. That is, many species will consume the offsets if they are not removed and therefore you will only have momma growing. I know from experience that some of my species where I left the offsets attached (the long stoloniferous ones) I typically only get mom up, but others this is less of an issue....albus comes to mind. In the case of konjac it is so prolific I do not think it matters much. Good luck with yours this year :o) Dan
