Planting an overwintered bulb

Question is, did it overwinter okay...I'm a newbie to all this plant stuff. I bought a calla lily, and with the last bloom right before winter, I cut the dead leaves off and meant to dig it up and what not, but it ended up just sitting in dry soil (in a pot). I took it out today, and the bulb is there, but I can't tell if it's viable. There is a speck of green in the middle, so it doesn't seem completely dead. Is it worth repotting? And if so, is there any special mixture I should pot it in? If I remember correctly, it's called gem dark eyes.
