Does Anyone Grow D. Vulgaris???

This is my time growing one & I'm trying to figure out if I'm on the right track or not

It started to spike about 3 months ago & it's growing, but very slowly

Figured it would have opened/started producing a leaf by now

The spikes on my other VooDoo Lilies (S. Venosum / A Konjac) open fast / Like with in a few weeks

Is it common for this one to take so long
