thats actually a good question. My Calla lilly was being grown indoors and became dormant all on its own in the early fall. I kept the corms dry until April at which point I replanted. The calla lilly you have might just do what it wants regardless of your plans. :)

I can't grow them in 10 florida. They tend to waste away over several years including the aethiopica. I'm sure they need adry rest period and I also think a cool down would be good also. They grow beautiful ones in 8 and 9 florida which suggests a freeze is not necessary.
